Donna is Executive Director of The Dougy Center for Grieving Children & Families in Portland, Oregon. Their mission is to provide support in a safe place where children, teens, young adults and their families grieving a death can share their experiences.

Today, they serve 400 children and their 250 adult family members each month. She is the author of Never the Same: Coming to Terms with the Death of a Parent, and a Fellow in Thanatology through the Association for Death Education & Counseling.
