Tricia oversees all programs and manages the administration and strategic direction of Caldera, which began as a summer camp near Sisters where kids with limited opportunities, both from the city and from the country came together to make art.  Today, they work year-round with students and invite artists from all over the world for month long residencies. With a passionate belief in the power of creativity and a varied 35-year background as a writer, administrator, teacher, musician, and environmental advocate Trisha is totally at home here. With an MFA from George Mason University and an ARCT from the Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music, she is also the author of Artists’ Communities (1996/2000, Allworth Press) amongst other publications.
